It's crazy to think that I started this over a year ago. Wow has time flown. And even though I've removed all but the first entry, it has been a great reminder of how life has changed in a short amount of time! Finishing year one in San Diego? Check. Serving the Lord in ways I didn't think possible? Check. Having a summer job I loved? Check. Having an amazing senior year at UCSD? Check. Graduating? Check. Finding my footing at home? Check. Adjusting to it all.. well that's a process! But I can't believe how far Jesus has walked with me and sustained me in this short time. I am so grateful for the things that didn't seem to go as planned and yet they fell exactly into place. So I'm trusting HIM with my whole life. No time tables. No predetermined conceptions of what my life is going to be. Just trusting. Living life through grace.
So starting over. I'm going to document it all. Hopefully better this time!
My dad and I have started to "flip" the house we live in! So there will be projects and updates on that.
I was just let go from my job at the Salad Shop, so I'm sure a new job is in my future.
I have started making quilts to sell on Etsy (with some encouragement from some really great friends.) and I'm going to start paying off my student loans utilizing the talents that God built into me. I know that I can creative beautiful things, and I believe God will help me pay off that giant debt. So I'm going to try!
I'm planning on moving back to San Diego eventually, so I'm sure some of working towards that will go here.
And LIFE. Life through the grace given by Jesus. Life spent with my mom and dad and sister and extended family. Life spent with old and new friends. Adventures and lazy days. Projects and progress.
And hopefully a blog post more often than once a year.
